Is Going To Club Fair Connected To Success In High School?
At lunch on September 25, the track will be transformed into a bustling community showcase of all the clubs offered at the Ridge. Club Fair is an annual event at our school, where the different clubs showcase information and what they’re about. But why would you want to go to the Club Fair? In this article, we’ll cover 5 important reasons why going to Club Fair will help you succeed not only in high school, but in life.
Discover New Interests
One of the biggest things you can gain from going to Club Fair is discovering new interests you might have. There are over 50 different clubs at IRHS, and each of them offer so many opportunities and spaces to learn about yourself and the world around you. It’s sometimes hard to see what clubs are offered at the school, so going to Club Fair will be a great way to see all of them at once! It’s a great idea to join many clubs and see what interests you, which can also help you make decisions about what you want to do later in life.
Meet New People
Another great thing about going to Club Fair is meeting new people and making connections with other members of the school. At Club Fair, you’ll get the opportunity to meet executive members of all the clubs at IRHS and talk to them about what the club is all about. You’ll gain important information about how the club works and it can help you decide which ones you want to join. In the long term, joining clubs can help you meet lots of new people and make friends in different grades, and outside of your classes.
It’s Just Really Really Fun
You would think that Club Fair wouldn’t be that fun of an experience, but it’s actually the opposite. The executive members of every club at IRHS have been working hard to create booths and fun activities for students to see and try out. They’ll have trivia, games and mini competitions to get you know more about the clubs and what they offer. Some might even have prizes if you win! Club Fair is a really great way to learn more about your school and get engaged in your school’s community in a fun way.
